Mt.Iwaki artist
Shimpei Inoue

Born in Hyogo Prefecture in 1974. Graduated from the College of Fine Arts at Utah State University in the United States.
At the age of 27, he became interested in the culture of Aomori and moved there with his wife and child.
Captivated at first sight by Mt. Iwaki, he decided to settle there permanently. Since 2011, he has been creating paintings of Mt. Iwaki and working as a Mt. Iwaki-themed artist.
